“Fall in Love With the Dance”

At Swing Crush 2026 we follow the division framework set by the World Swing Dance Council (WSDC) to help you choose the track that matches your experience and competition eligibility. Use the descriptions below to guide your selection—and please verify your WSDC standing before registering. 

Ideal for dancers newer to competition or still solidifying fundamentals. In this track you’ll focus on clean timing, partner connection, and essential footwork patterns. Perfect for building confidence in both social and competitive settings. 

Designed for dancers with solid fundamentals who are ready to expand their vocabulary and control. Workshops will explore technique-driven variations, momentum flow, and clearer partner communication—skills that boost your performance in the Intermediate division. 

 For experienced competitors committed to refining artistry and competitive edge. This level dives into sophisticated mechanics, intentional styling, and musical interpretation, giving you tools to perform with confidence under pressure. 

Tailored to top-level competitors and those seeking mastery. Expect advanced theory and application, subtle connection cues, musical complexity, and individualized movement vocabulary—challenging you to express your highest level of swing dance craftsmanship.

• This will be a deep dive into a core concept the instructors believe to be best suited for Novice and Intermediate level dancers
• The intensive is 2 hours of in depth focused material for the analytical minds and those that desire strong practical application

• The 2 hour Breakdown is available to those that want guidance on how to manage the dance during a spotlight
• Conveniently scheduled before Spotlight Finals
• Open to all Advanced and Allstar Level Dancers!

• Spotlight critiques are great for those that desire feedback on their presentation as a lead or as a follow – this can be as a social dancer, heated competitive dancer, or a finals spotlight dancer
• During the 2 hours, you have an opportunity to participate, and absorb information from feedback given to other dancers
• Conveniently scheduled before All Star Spotlight Finals!
• Open to all Advanced and All Star Level dancers!
