Self-Sorted leveled Workshops

Focus will be placed on understanding the basics of lead and follow. You'll learn how the leader’s movements guide the follower’s response, creating smooth and connected partnership. These workshops, will focus on strengthening your connection and taking the foundation of your dance to the next level. You’ll refine your technique and build essential skills to enhance your movement, timing, and lead/follow dynamics. Designed for Intermediate/Advanced competitors, this level is for dancers ready to elevate their swing dancing. Dive into dynamic movement, refined partner connection, and advanced techniques used at the competitive level. Expect to master more intricate patterns, enhance your connection awareness, and develop the skills for quality movement and floorcraft. Tailored for Advanced/Allstar competitors, this level delves into the most intricate elements of West Coast Swing. Dancers will refine their mastery of complex syncopations, elevate their styling choices, and fine-tune their partner responsiveness. The focus is on perfecting every detail, ensuring participants leave with a heightened understanding of the dance and the skills necessary to excel in top-tier competitions. Prepare to elevate your dancing to its highest level!

* Must be qualified to compete in Advanced or Allstar per WSDC to attend this workshop 

• This will be a deep dive into a core concept the instructors believe to be best suited for Novice and Intermediate level dancers
• The intensive is 2 hours of hyper focused material for the analytical minds and those that desire strong practical application

• The 2 hour Breakdown is available to those that want guidance on how to manage the dance during a spotlight
• Conveniently scheduled before Intermediate and Advanced Spotlight Finals
• Open to all Intermediate and Advanced Level Dancers!

• Spotlight critiques are great for those that desire feedback on their presentation as a lead or as a follow – this can be as a social dancer, heated competitive dancer, or a finals spotlight dancer
• During the 2 hours, you have an opportunity to participate, and absorb information from feedback given to other dancers
• Conveniently scheduled before All Star Spotlight Finals!
• Open to all Advanced and All Star Level dancers!
